Our mission statement in part declares we are committed to working as an outreach ministry for the betterment of our community, and that we have the responsibility to reach out with faith, care and compassion to those in our community, as well as those who worship and call Greater Grace Temple Church their church home.

We are continuing to monitor this developing situation pertaining to the COVID-19, also known as the CoronaVirus which has broken out in pandemic levels in our nation and world.

Due to the numerous warnings which have been issued by the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention, and due to many national events, sports events, and sport leagues suspending activities, Greater Grace Temple encourages everyone to take heed to the advice of the Centers for Disease and Control and US State Department.

  • Practice good health habits. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom, before eating, after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
  • Greeting. We are a Community of Faith as you know and are very welcoming. Each week we express our gratitude for one another by hugging, shaking hands and the like. We are asking, however, that you reduce the amount of person to person contact during this time.
  • Cleaning. We have expressed to our cleaning service that special attention be given to the cleaning of door knobs, and other places people’s hands touch when utilizing our church. We as a church leadership will ensure that cleaning of these areas is given special attention about what attention is already afforded to these areas during the duration of this pandemic.

The CDC has recommended that those who have weakened immune systems and pre-existing conditions may have to reconsider their person to person contact. If you are currently coughing, sneezing, and experiencing symptoms of a cold, it would be very wise for you to stay home and visit our website at https://greatergracetemplechurch.org and listen to some of our podcasts while you are home convalescing.

In the meantime, 2 Timothy 1:7 states “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind,” and Psalm 91:10 states “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”  In closing, we are asking you to consider others during this time. Take a look around your neighborhood, check in on your family, and help those who are having difficulty during this time.

Through all of this, we will still trust in Jesus Christ, and pray and ask for the Lord’s providential healing and restoration.  We are looking forward to worshipping with you soon! Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.

Yours in Christ,

Greater Grace Temple Church
